■Concept
Hatsune Miku is a virtual singer who suddenly appeared when I was transitioning from junior high to high school. I remember that at first, she sang with clumsy words. But her electronic sound was incredibly cool, and for some reason, it resonated deeply with me. My artwork concepts usually end up sounding stiff, but this time I want to write in honest words.

Back then, I wasn't particularly good at school, but I had a close friend. On days when we weren't in the mood, we'd skip school and go to karaoke from noon until evening. We'd sing Hatsune Miku's songs for hours. I think it was a sanctuary for both of us.
A collaboration with Hatsune Miku, who I had listened to, sung, and drawn so much on the other side of the screen. It wasn't a dream. The songs I loved then I still listen to now, and before I knew it, she had become a global diva.
